Coleton Camp NT car park near Kingswear, South Devon. Circular 6.1 miles but 1958 feet of ascent. Quite strenuous but fantastic views.
From the car park follow the track east to the coast path. Turn right.

...As you follow the path you will see the lower entrance to the National Trust garden at Coleton Fishacre.
...Further along you will come to the coastwatch lookout at Froward Point and the remains of world war 2 defences.

...This is followed by a long flight of steps down, and two long flights of steps back up. At the top turn right and follow the lane, turning right and downhill for Home Farm.

Cherry trees in full bloom
After this the path is very slippery when wet ( which it often is) so take care. It is much easier going up than coming down.
The path becomes a surfaced lane. Follow the lane past Higher Brownstone Farm and past the entrance to Coleton Fishacre back to the car park.
