A circular walk in East Devon from Yarcome. 10 miles 2018:04:25

An excellent walk with the Newton Abbot Ramblers from Yarcombe.

Hamlets, fields, woodland and streams with excellent views.

Just the occasional brief shower. 17 people out.

Rower Fort, a folley tower on Rower Hill from 1827, attached to a thatched farmhouse

A bank of wood anaemones on the edge of a stream  Corry Brook. Note that the path now runs down beside the stream where Blackhayes Lane crosses the Corry Brook, and not over the field to the west as shown on GPS / maps. It is wrong on OpenStreetMap as well.
