47. Kato Poros to Argiroupoli
Two and a half kilometres of level surfaced road. The banks of this quiet road are bright with flowers in the spring. A good route for cyclists or walkers.

Leave Kato Poros by the tarmac road heading west.
There are old threshing floors on the left and a small church sits on a promontory to the right.
25 min. The road turns south-west above a steep sided valley. A church and sanctuary sit on the far side of the valley beneath some superb stone terracing.
30 min. The road turns a hairpin at the head of the valley. 100 metres beyond this turn left up an old cobbled and concrete track to enter Argiroupoli under a fortress-like wall which supports the school playing field.
35 min. Note the fragment of ancient pillar on the left and dressed stone built into the walls. Follow the paths up the crest and to the west of the ridge for the best views and fragments of ancient Lappa.
